Tick Bites - prevention and treatment
At certain times of the year ticks are more prevalent in the local area. Every year we get requests for "emergency" appointments because a patient or visitor to the area has been bitten by a tick. We have produced a practice patient information leaflet that may help answer questions about preventing tick bites, how to remove them if bitten and the risks of contracting lyme disease. The leaflet is available for download along with other information leaflets that may help with prevention and treatment of tick bites:
